Photographer debuts workPhotographer Rick Scalzo of Aurora will have his gallery debut Saturday at Limestone Coffee and Tea. 15 E. Wilson St., Batavia. He has selected 23 personal favorites, including "No Time To Stop." A meet and greet will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at Limestone. A portion of sales from his show will be donated to the American Cancer Society. For more information, call Tara Scalzo at (630) 532-8436.Chorus seeks membersThe Fox Valley Festival Chorus is preparing for its fall season and looking for new members. The Chorus is a nonprofit organization which has provided musical entertainment in the Fox Valley area since 1955. In addition to two annual concerts, the Chorus performs at a number of different venues such as music festivals, chamber of commerce events, community functions, Kane County Cougars games, holiday shows, Christmas parties, shopping malls, historical venues, churches, and retirement/nursing homes. Rehearsals, which begin Sept. 13, are 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Mondays at St. Mark's Lutheran Church at the corner of Galena and Edgelawn in Aurora. The Chorus is directed by Mary Beth McCarthy of Naperville. She is director of the instrumental music program at the Illinois Math and Science Academy. It will be a four-person scramble with two divisions, Men's or Mixed (at least one woman). Sponsorships are available until Aug. 31.
