Not exactly the work of a genius

I generally do not write letters to the editor, and with all the topics to choose from, this may appear trivial. Lately I have noticed that there appear to be more and more grammatical errors in published articles.

The one in this Sunday's Home and Garden section on the home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright sent me over the top. The sub heading on the lead story on the front page references a farmhouse which "is a modern reminder of the architect's genious." I do not believe there is even such a word as "genious." I enjoy my newspapers, and am dismayed by the ongoing debate about their imminent demise. However, I would not be adverse to your use of technology such as spell check so as not to reduce your writings to the level of a "Twitter."
