Sparton completes acquisition

SCHAUMBURG - Sparton Corp., a supplier of complex electronic and electromechanical products, subassemblies and related services to the highly regulated Medical, Defense & Security, and Aerospace markets announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Sparton Medical Systems Colorado, completed its acquisition of assets related to the contract manufacturing business of Delphi Medical Systems.

The all-cash transaction is valued at approximately $8 million.

The acquisition is expected to add $32 million in projected annual revenue from a new customer base.
