Kane Countybull; James A. Cunningham, 42, of the 500 block of Carlisle Street, Batavia, was arrested at 8:30 p.m. Sunday and charged with criminal damage to property after breaking a door to a residence on the 300 block of North Aurora-Batavia Avenue, near North Aurora, according to a police report. Police said the damage happened during a domestic dispute. bull; A saxophone in a brown case was reported stolen Monday from a vehicle on the 6N500 block of Sycamore Avenue, near St. Charles. Police said the rear passenger window of the vehicle was broken out, and investigators found a flathead screwdriver and small metal object in the back seat. The loss was valued at $2,200 total. bull; Police found four or five people sitting on the roof of Fabyan Elementary School, 00S350 Grengs Lane, near Elburn, about 11 p.m. Monday. When confronted, the suspects told police they climbed onto the roof out of boredom, but wouldn't do it again, according to a police report. There was no damage, and no charges were filed.St. Charlesbull; Andrew Joseph Wojciechowski, 33, of the 100 block of Walnut Drive, was charged with disorderly conduct Sunday, according to a police report. Wojciechowski was found with a large amount of blood on his face and a swollen left eye while standing outside of a tavern on the 1400 block of West Main Street. A bouncer at the tavern told police he observed Wojciechowski swearing at other customers and asked him to leave. Wojciechowski then finished his beer and told the bouncer he'd be back with a gun. The bouncer then attempted to walk away when Wojciechowski ran him down and tried to punch him while his back was turned. The bouncer blocked Wojciechowski's punch and hit Wojciechowski in the face. Wojciechowski then fell and hit his head on the ground. Owners of the tavern told police they wanted to press charges against Wojciechowski for disorderly conduct. Wojciechowski then refused medical treatment and told police he would return to the tavern to attack the bouncer with a baseball bat. Wojciechowski was advised if he returned to the tavern he'd be arrested on a charge of trespassing. bull; Jerry E. Anderson, 43, of the 37W800 block of Wildwood Drive in Elgin, was arrested Tuesday on charges of disorderly conduct, according to a police report. Police were called to a tavern on the 100 block of South First Avenue to remove a customer. The incident escalated into a fight while police were in route. Police found Anderson walking away from the establishment and detained him. A bartender told police Anderson was asked to leave the tavern after being confrontational with other patrons. Anderson then reportedly threw his cell phone and broke two beer bottles. Other patrons at the tavern supported that sequence of events.
