Larsen, 18, of the 400 block of South Collins Street, South Elgin, was cited for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor at 12:54 a.m. Sunday on the 700 block of McKinley Avenue, police said. bull; Emily R. Heinz, 18, of the 0-99 block of Willoughby Court, Algonquin, was cited for theft of less than $300 at 12:10 p.m. July 26 at Claire's, 1534 Commons Drive, according to a police report. Police said Heinz put a $12.36 pair of earrings in her purse and walked out of the store without paying. bull; Six CDs and about $2 in coins were reported stolen Saturday from a 1999 Lexus on the 200 block of North Cambridge Drive, police said. bull; A 1997 Chevrolet S-10 was reported egged Friday on the 600 block of Richards Street, police said. bull; Twenty-eight bottles of perfume valued at $826 total were reported stolen Friday from Bath and Body Works, 430 Commons Drive, police said. Kane County bull; Scott M. Cameron, 20, of the 100 block of Picasso Drive, St. Charles, was arrested at 10:14 p.m. Saturday on charges of unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor and resisting police at Vasa Park, 35W217 Route 31, near South Elgin, police said. According to a police report, Cameron tried at least three times to sneak into a music festival without paying. Police said he was arrested after being caught scaling a perimeter fence. As an officer tried to take him into custody, Cameron repeatedly tensed his arm and pulled away, police said. bull; Cynthia L. Croon, 51, of the 400 block of Illinois Street, St. Charles, was arrested at 9:40 p.m. Saturday on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and illegal transportation of alcohol, according to a police report. Police said Croon crashed a Chevy Blazer into a ditch at the southeast corner of Route 47 and Tall Oaks Trail, near Elburn. Tests later showed she had a blood-alcohol level of 0.243, more than three times the legal threshold, police said. Responding officers also discovered two bottles of vodka in her vehicle, police said. No injuries were reported. bull; Someone drained the oil from a John Deere tractor on the 4N400 block of Pheasant Run Drive, near St. Charles, according to a police report filed Thursday. bull; A hit-and-run crash was reported at 12:38 p.m. Thursday at Dean Street and Pheasant Run Drive, near St. Charles. One of the drivers told police she was westbound on Dean Street when a red pickup pulled out in front of her from Pheasant Run Drive, striking her front driver's side before fleeing. The driver who fled was described as a white woman with blonde hair. bull; A horse was reported abandoned Sunday at Field of Dreams Horse Rescue and Adoption on the 1N800 block of Brundige Road, near Elburn. The complainant told police the horse was adopted about a year ago. She said she heard from the new owner about two weeks ago that the horse had thrown her off, and that she wanted to return it, according to a police report.
