Money for bombs, none for care
I really enjoy reading the posts from the supposed tea party and conservatives. One of them has really hit it on the head when he slams liberals for the fault of our economic downturn.
I guess no one paid no attention as to how we arrived at this predicament our country finds itself in. I have hammer on our overspending for years here. Now in this downturn they finally notice. I urge everyone who feels this way to look at how we have gotten here. Ronald Reagan was the first to take on enormous debt. George H. Bush understood what that meant hence his increase in taxes. Cost him a second term. Only Clinton was able to right the deficit ship.
G.W. Bush borrowed us into oblivion. Oh yeah, that's right, 9/11, that made it OK. Please don't forget the cuts to the oversight on our financial institutions. So now are jobs have been shipped overseas and there are no jobs, without all that free money.
And that's liberals' fault? Take a look at the deficit over the last 40 years. Only Clinton had any success turning this corner.
We spend over a trillion dollars a year on defense when the VA expenditures are factored in. And unemployment benefits are to much. That's right, we have money for bombs to kill people. But none to take care of them. Ponder that for a while.
