Congressmen hold on to seats too long

What we really have are the Mediocre and the Dimmest. Honestly, would you buy a used car from 90 percent of our congressional members?

Would you allow even 50 percent of them to teach your children? What subject could they teach? How to get re-elected 101? An advance class on, "How to appear sincere and lie with a straight face"? My favorite, a class on, "It's the other administration's fault." Note, I do not mention either party. This is the result of having perma-Congress members. These are members that hog their seat, making it near impossible for our younger people to have any chance of winning that seat.

They have gerrymandered their districts in such a way that it becomes a statistical impossibility for them to loose an election. Some have been there for as long as 40 years, most have never held a real job. From school straight to a government job or NGO (like citizens for fairness, or save the earth worms, etc.) job. What kind of fresh idea can this person come up with?

Guys who have to grub for a living, meet a payroll, are not what you will find seeking office. The day they would announce their candidacy is the day the trash squads would come out from under the rocks. They need not find an "impropriety" they only need to allude to one. As a smart, successful, businessman, why should you and your family, have to put up with that? As long as people buy into the trash and every political correctness, they are not seriously interested in upgrading the candidates.
