Lake Forest Graduate School to move out of Motorola building

The Schaumburg Campus for Lake Forest Graduate School is expanding to a new Schaumburg location.

After operating for 22 years inside the Motorola Galvin Center on Algonquin Road in Schaumburg, Lake Forest Graduate School of Management is moving to 1300 E. Woodfield Road, Suite 600.

The new campus at the intersection of Woodfield and Meacham roads will occupy 14,000 square feet on the building's sixth floor and is expected to open in late November 2010.

This new campus puts LFGSM students in the heart of the Schaumburg business district, with easy access from major highways and roads, officials at the school said. The multi-tenant building in which the new campus will be located -- Woodfield Corners -- may be recognizable to area residents who are familiar with the building's signage that indicates major tenant Texas Instruments.

The campus will offer amenities that include five state-of-the-art classrooms, conference rooms, breakout rooms, and spaces for studying, dining and relaxing. The building offers ample, free parking and an upscale vending and lounge area.

The building has been completely remodeled both inside and outside. It is owned/managed by Crossroads Development Partners. The LFGSM has partnered with Nevin Hedlund Architects Inc. of River Forest to design the new campus.
