Value was estimated at $300.Hoffman Estatesbull; Vandals hurled a landscape brick through the front passenger's-side window on a 2002 Ford Focus in a driveway on the 1600 block of Nicholson Drive between 11 p.m. July 12 and 6:30 a.m. July 13.bull; Thieves stole four cell phones out of a men's locker room in a park district hockey facility on the 1600 block of West Higgins Road between 8 and 10 p.m. July 14. Value was estimated at $1,000.bull; Burglars climbed onto the roof at the Fountain Square Shopping Center on the 3000 block of North Barrington Road around 11 p.m. July 15, climbed through a rain vent into Aspen Cleaners, took a green hand weight and approximately $30 out of a cash register. The burglars used the hand weight to smash the front window at Subway but did not get inside. They smashed a window and entered Jimmy Johns restaurant and stole an undisclosed amount of money out of two registers. bull; Burglars stole an MP3 player valued at $200 out of a 2007 Dodge Caliber on the 600 block of Wainsford Drive between 10:30 p.m. and midnight July 16. bull; Vandals smashed a window on a 2000 Hyundai Sonata on the 1600 block of Queensbury Circle between 9 and 11 a.m. July 16. Damage was estimated at $150.bull; Burglars broke into a 1998 Chevrolet van in a parking lot on the 600 block of Salem Drive between 4 p.m. July 16 and 11 a.m. July 17 and stole three hydraulic jacks, mechanic's scanner, ratchet set, bucket of tools and mechanic's hydraulic pistol. Value was estimated at $1,980.Schaumburgbull; Bronislawa Liebelt, 71, of the 6200 block of West Eastwood, Chicago, was arrested around 3:20 p.m. July 16 at Woodfield Shopping Center and charged with retail theft. Her court date is Aug. 31.bull; Joseph A. Letteri, 21, of the 1000 block of Mountain Glen Way, Carol Stream, was arrested around 6 p.m. July 18 at Woodfield Shopping Center and charged with retail theft. His court date is Aug. 11.
