Car wash to benefit cancer victim

Streamwood High School cheerleaders and friends of Stephanie Jones will be hosting a car wash to raise money for continued cancer treatments for the former Sabre cheerleader from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 31, at Panera Bread, 971 E. Irving Park Road, Streamwood.

Jones has been fighting the illness for over a year and has gone through numerous radiation and chemotherapies, Chris Van Herick said in a news release.
