Hawks training camp fest scheduled for Sept. 18
The Chicago Blackhawks will host their third annual "Blackhawks Training Camp Festival" at the United Center on Sept. 18
The event, which runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., allows fans inside the United Center to watch a Blackhawks training camp practice with head coach Joel Quenneville wearing a microphone.
Outside the UC, the festival will feature a 5K walk/run and 10K inline skate named "The Mad Dash to Madison," as well as a three-on-three street hockey tournament, a bags tournament, appearances from Blackhawks Alumni, live music, food and drink and entertainment for fans of all ages.
Tickets to the Blackhawks Training Camp Festival, as well as registration for the "Mad Dash to Madison" and the three-on-three street hockey tournament, will go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. at chicagoblackhawks.com, at the Blackhawks Store (333 N. Michigan Ave.), and any Ticketmaster location or by calling (800) 745-3000. Customers may purchase up to eight (8) tickets. Parking for the event is free in the United Center's Lot K.
A complete schedule for the festival will be released at a later date.
