Chicago man arrested in Des Plaines break-in

Albert Hendersen, 45, of the 700 block of East 84th Place, Chicago, was arrested at 9:45 a.m. June 24 and charged with burglary.

Police said the arrest stemmed from a burglary 6:30 a.m. May 26 at Certified Financial Advisors, 2860 S. River Road.

The alarm went off and a man fled with two laptop computers. Another tenant of the building provided the license plate of the vehicle, which was rented. The renter was identified through investigation and a warrant for Henderson was issued.

Police said Hendersen provided written statements implicating himself in numerous commercial burglaries in the Northwest suburbs, including ones in Des Plaines, Glenview, Northbrook and Hoffman Estates.
