Accident closes down Silver Glen Road near St. Charles

Police and rescue crews were on the scene of a crash with injuries this afternoon along Silver Glen Road, west of St. Charles.

Radio reports indicate that at least one person was ejected from a vehicle and tossed onto the roadway near Silver Glen's intersection at Brierwood Drive.

Police were said to be closing Silver Glen at Willowbrook Drive to the east and Verhaeghe Road to the west while crews help victims and clear wreckage.
