Attacks on Rep. Mark Kirk have no credibility
I watched State Rep. Chapa-LaVia's feeble attempt at an attack on Rep. Mark Kirk, at one point accusing him of falsely claiming to have served in Vietnam (Mark was in grade school and never made that claim). I must say as a veteran how outraged I am at the complete lack of human decency Ms. Chapa-LaVia and other Alexi Giannoulias operatives have shown in attacking Mark Kirk. Kirk's service to our nation as a Naval officer is beyond question, just as his service as a Congressman is beyond question.
I consider myself an independent, in that I try to vote for candidates I believe in. I believe in Mark Kirk, will vote for him, and will try to convince everyone I know to support him as well.
