Your news: Jung retires at age 99, after 28 years with Maine Township

After 28 years of faithful service to Maine Township and the MaineStreamers senior organization, Helen Jung, age 99, officially retired Thursday, June 10, during a celebration attended by over 50 elected officials, township staff - both current and former, family members, and many admirers.

Maine Township Supervisor Carol Teschky presented Jung with a special certificate of appreciation. Others gave a nice variety of gifts and special rememberances.

Jung is a longtime Park Ridge resident, who still lives in her own home. Her advice on living long is "don't die".
