Networking will be key at business conference

The local business community will soon become a bustling hub of activity at the GLMV Chamber of Commerce B2B "Best Practices" Conference & EXPO, an exciting business-to-business mega-networking event to be held June 23 in Mundelein.

"The B2B event will include something for every business person, no matter what your industry," said GLMV Chairman Jill Kirshenbaum, Sandler Training. "Join us to showcase your business, learn best practices and network."

The event will take place at the Doubletree Hotel, 510 E. Route 83, Mundelein, from 9:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. Kicking off the festivities at 10 a.m. is Keynote Speaker Bruce Wolf, veteran Chicago radio and TV personality, local attorney and motivational speaker. Wolf will inspire many with his humorous take on his professional and personal experiences.

Following the keynote will be a series of six seminars focusing on the hottest topics in business today, such as social media, technology, networking and strategic visioning. There also will be lunch and time for open networking.

The program is open to business owners, managers, sales, professional services, accountants, HR, business development, IT staff and anyone else who needs to develop and wants to do business, organizers say.

"We are looking forward to making many new business connections," noted exhibitor Lars Rasmussen, World Financial Group.

Exhibitors include a wide variety of businesses such as technology, financial, telecommunications, creative services, media, home improvement, staffing, retail and more.
