Palin has no place in cleanup effort
I read that former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is touting her "expertise" on oil spill cleanups to President Obama by urging him to, "give me a call."
What I find most interesting is that the governors of the four states most directly affected by the BP oil spill disaster, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Flordia have, so far, not called Ms. Palin. One must wonder if Republican governors Jindal, Barbour, Riley and Crist recognize that the Exxon Valdez cleanup, of which Ms. Palin now seems to be taking much credit, is no model to be emulated.
So why should President Obama involve Sarah Palin in the cleanup when her own Republican colleagues are avoiding her like a gooey tar ball?
