The 15th Annual Grayslake Arts Festival promises to be a day of fine art, family entertainment and great food from local vendors.

Artists from all over the Midwest will display and sell their work, representing a wide variety of media including pottery, watercolor, oil and pastel painting, pen and ink drawing, photography, sculpture, wood, ceramics, jewelry, functional art and more. Five "Best of Show" cash prizes in the various media categories will be awarded.

Continuous entertainment will be offered throughout the day, including performances by the Spotlight Company of the Dance Connection, Grayslake Community High School, Lake County Folk Musicians and Medleys in Motion DJ.

There will children's art activities near Centennial Park throughout the day.

Grayslake Community High School will be showcasing student work throughout the day as well.

The festival, attended by more than 4,000 people last year, is organized by the Grayslake Chamber of Commerce under its contract with the Grayslake Economic Development Commission.
