Blackhawks take the Cup tour to 'Tonight Show'

When "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" started Monday, the Stanley Cup was missing.

But just as four Chicago Blackhawks players chatted with "Tonight" band leader Rickey Minor about where it might be, it resurfaced - on the hood of Jay Leno's car.

Patrick Kane, Brent Seabrook, Duncan Keith and Jonathan Toews all appeared on Leno's show Monday - with the cup safe and sound, of course.

Following Leno's monologue, the four walked onto the stage accompanied by Queen's "We Are the Champions," then chatted with Leno before sitting in with Minor and the band.

Leno asked Kane how it felt to score the series-winning goal. "It was pretty unbelievable," Kane said. "I think it's every kids' dream to actually do that."

Leno also praised Duncan Keith. "You had seven teeth knocked out, and you kept playing," Leno said.

Keith talked about upcoming dates with a dentist's chair, then presented Leno with a necklace made with one of his missing teeth. Later, they also Leno an official team sweater.

Team captain Toews talked about how it felt getting booed by Flyers fans after he was named playoff MVP. "We knew they weren't going to cheer for us," Toews said. "The boos were more of a compliment to us than anything."
