'Gun control' only helps evil element

Let's get right to the point, gun control does not prevent crime. It only sounds good to people who don't understand that criminals do not obey the law anyway. It only hurts law-abiding citizens who already have the right to defend themselves and their loved ones. It's called the Second Amendment!

If gun control worked we would not have all the crime that we have in the Chicago area. The politicians love the term "gun control." It makes it seem like they support something useful when in reality they just make it easier for evil people to commit crimes.

Let's open up our eyes. This is the real world we live in and the only thing that hardened criminals understand is fear. Most of them are repeat offenders who will continue to commit crimes, unless there is a strong deterrent in place.

This is why we should support the Second Amendment and the right to carry in Illinois. It will prevent crime and save countless lives.
