Dist. 15 to discuss bond issue

The Palatine Township Elementary District 15 school board agreed Wednesday it will discuss options related to a proposed $27 million bond issue at its Aug. 18 meeting. A challenge to petitions forcing the issue to a November referendum was dropped last week after enough signatures were found to be valid. The board now has to decide whether to drop the question from the ballot, Superintendent Dan Lukich said.
