Drug arrest in Hanover Park

A 20-year-old Hanover Park man accused of dealing marijuana remained in custody at Cook County Jail Tuesday, unable to post 10 percent of his $50,000 bond.

Anthony Eichstaedt, of the 7600 block of Manchester Manor, was arrested after officers executed a search warrant at his residence late Thursday. A narcotics investigation had been launched following complaints of drug dealing in the neighborhood, Deputy Police Chief Tom Cortese said.

Officers found 13 grams of cannabis with a street value of about $70. Eichstaedt was charged with three felony counts of possession of cannabis with intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia.

His next court date is June 25 in Rolling Meadows.
