Murray: Don't expect another wild shootout
Q. Are we going to see the same high-flying action we saw in Game 1 tonight?A. I would be surprised if we saw that type of hockey game again. I think there were some nerves, some unknowns going into Game 1 that you won't see in Game 2.I'm pretty sure both coaches will want their teams to shore up defensively inside their own zone and do a better job.Q. Did the Flyers come out and do what you thought they would try to do?A. I wasn't overly surprised. I knew they wanted to be overly aggressive and get the Blackhawks into their own zone and not let them get into their transition game.I thought once both teams entered the offensive zone, they both did an excellent job of establishing the cycle and then positioning in front of the net.The aggressiveness of pressure was a direct cause of most of the goals.Q. Who caught your eye in Game 1?A. I think Tomas Kopecky stepped up and did a tremendous job. He hadn't played since Game 5 against Vancouver. He stepped in and filled some big shoes in the injured Andrew Ladd. You look at some of the players who have played in a Stanley Cup Finals and they were some of the better players on the ice. A Chris Pronger from Philadelphia, Marian Hossa, Kopecky.Q. Did nerves get to the inexperienced goalies?A. I don't know. I'm not inside their heads. Probably neither goalie would be happy with their performance in Game 1 and expect to play better in Game 2.bull; You can hear Troy Murray's analysis on every Blackhawks radio broadcast on WGN 720-AM.
