Dist. 220 correct to eject nonresidents

The headline on Thursday's Herald was "Dist. 220 to tell 6 students they must go." This was the right action for board members to take.

When kids live outside school district boundaries, they should be ejected. They are stealing the tax dollars paid by taxpayers in the district to educate residents.

How is this any different from the Arizona immigration law? When illegals cross the border and expect the same benefits as citizens they should be confronted and their status questioned. Why should they be allowed to stay? It's only fair to apply the same rules that are currently in place for U.S. citizens who ignore boundaries.
