Use technology to solve energy issues

What a disaster. An oil rig sinks into the Gulf of Mexico. Think of it. The environmental repercussions of an oil spill are endless. The environmental harm caused by carbon energy sources on our planet is reason for concern from all of us.

As a people we should make better choices and move away from an oil dependent society in an economically friendly way and all would benefit. Taking advantage of technology that is available to us today would go a long way to solving our energy needs into the future.
