Thanks for help on Prairie Path cleanup

The Wheaton Environmental Improvement Commission wishes to extend a sincere thank you to all our volunteers who helped with the April 24 Prairie Path Cleanup. As always, we had a fantastic group of adults, teens, and children come out to clean the entire length of path throughout Wheaton and beyond.

Many thanks to the AM Rotary Club of Central DuPage, Milton Township Republican Central Committee, St. Michael's Knights of Columbus, Wheaton Junior Women's Club, Wheaton Warrenville South High School Key Club and environmental biology class and the Wheaton North High School Key Club.

Additionally, we would like to recognize the many individuals, families and neighborhoods who participated in the cleanup effort, including Boy Scout Troop 374, St. Michael's Cub Scout Pack 134, Boy Scout Troop 23, Carl Sandburg School Cub Pack 317 and Longfellow School Cub Scout Pack 163. This event could only take place with your support.

As evidenced by the many orange bags filled with trash along the path, you all did a fantastic job. We hope to see you again next year. Until then, give yourself a pat on the back and enjoy walking along the cleanest stretch of the Illinois Prairie Path.
