Why now with golf course complaints?
As a 10-year resident of Klein Creek, I would like to present a different opinion of the so-called golf course noise issue.
As your article stated, "in past years, there weren't any complaints filed against the course." This is all a "sour-grapes" issue with a few residents who were put off when the new ownership posted "No Trespassing" signs because some residents were using the course as a public park: kids biking and families walking their strollers on the cart paths in the middle of the day. It was a liability issue for the course.
As a golfer I understand that, as a business, they have to mow during early morning hours, before play begins. Maintenance noise and a few stray golf balls are all part of living on a golf course. Nothing has changed in the past 10 years, so why the complaints now?
