Another duet from season 9 'Idol' finalists

Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze will face off for the "American Idol" crown Tuesday night.

But first the two finalists spent time Friday at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles recording a folksy version of "Take Me Out To the Ball Game."

The promo aired during four Fox baseball telecasts Saturday, including the Chicago Cubs, New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies games.

The arrangement, which Bowersox and DeWyze said they came up with pretty quickly, features the pair trading riffs and vocals on a stripped-down take of the national pastime classic.

"We busted out our guitars this morning and we came up with our own folksy version of 'Take Me Out To the Ball Game,'" Bowersox said.

The pair seemed to relish the brief break from "Idol" finale rehearsals.

"This is different from anything else we've been doing," DeWyze said. "Hey you're going to Dodger Stadium, you're going to record 'Take Me Out To the Ball Game.' It's pretty cool."
