Barrington Dist. 220 hires two principals

Barrington Unit District 220 has hired two new school principals for next year. Kimberly Foster-Thomas will be the new principal of Countryside Elementary School and Travis Lobbins will be the new principal of Barrington Middle School-Prairie Campus.

Foster-Thomas currently is principal of Garfield Elementary School in Elgin Area School District U-46 and has 13 years experience as a teacher and school administrator. Lobbins currently serves as principal of Johnsburg Junior High School and also has 13 years experience as a teacher and administrator.

Foster-Thomas is succeeding the retiring Christy Newhouse. Lobbins is replacing Art Fessler, who's becoming superintendent of Oaklawn-Hometown School District 123.
