Help beautify downtown Elburn with flowers

The Elburn Chamber of Commerce Community Outreach Committee is hosting a planting of all the flower pots located throughout downtown Elburn.

Planting will begin at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 13.

The Community Outreach Committee is looking for volunteers to "Adopt-A-Pot" for the duration of the summer. Organizations, businesses, families, or individuals are invited to join in this "Adopt-A-Pot" event. These volunteers will be responsible to prune, trim, weed, and water their adoptive pot. Flowers are provided. Anyone interested in adopting a pot should contact Jessica Impson at (630) 365-2295 or e-mail info@elburn.com in order to reserve one.

No adoption or experience is necessary to help out on Thursday. Spend the day outside, get dirty and have fun planting flowers outside with your neighbors and the community.

The Elburn Chamber of Commerce is a volunteer driven organization committed to serving local businesses and helping to foster a spirit of community in the Elburn area.
