Borrow, spend, then go on merry way

Let's see now, the DuPage County Board estimates it can save us $1.5 million dollars annually if they take over the DuPage Water Commission. This board along with the county chairman are the ones that approved the use of $15 million, saying it would be used to benefit the people of the county, and used it for other shortfalls. Oh, by the way, the state legislators approved the use of this money, and now the county board wants us to trust them to save $1.5 million dollars annually?

People, this whole thing stinks in these hard times. The water commission and the politicians are throwing away million of dollars, and I for one believe they are laughing at us because they don't seem concerned; they just borrow and spend and go on their merry way.
