Bring troops home, where real threat lies
With the rise of homegrown terrorism with threats of violence and government upheaval to return the White House and Congress to radical right wing hands, why don't we withdraw from Iraq and Afghanistan and post our military here in the United States?
With the advent of Oklahoma wanting their own militia, the record number of guns purchased since Barack Obama was elected, and the vitriolic hate speeches around America, wouldn't this be a better use for our troops to protect this country?
No foreign based terrorism can match what's going on here. And it's not Islam that perils us; it's the religion that these fanatics believe that our country was founded upon.
Then we'll have a twofer: withdrawal from the Middle East saving lives and money, and reinforcing homeland security in the process.
