Children's author visits Schaumburg Twp. library

The Schaumburg Township District Library is inviting area children ages 8 years old and up to a special program featuring award-winning author and songwriter Adam Selzer.

The program will be held from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. Thursday, May 13 in the Youth Services Classroom of the district's Central Library at 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

Selzer is known for his quick wit as well as his funny, inspiring and informative presentations for children. His books include "The Smart Aleck's Guide to American History," "I Kissed a Zombie and I Liked It" and "I Put a Spell on You: From the Files of Chrissie Woodward, Spelling Bee Detective."

Selzer will discuss the importance of reading and leading exciting lives.
