Big profits in way of needed shake-ups

I believe that one reason that our job situation is so bad in the states is due to the many years that corporations have been allowed to ship jobs overseas. When I have problems with my internet or TV provider, I am forced to speak with a person in some other country who might not speak English very well.

Even in medical care, radiologists in other countries are hired to read x-rays taken in hospitals in our country. This outsourcing might be good for the global economy and for corporations, but it is taking away jobs from our country and devastating our economy.

This situation has been of long standing. I believe that President Obama and his team will correct the situation, if given a chance. Sadly, just as in health care, there are those stakeholders that have been making big profits and want the status quo, even when the status quo seems to be hurting our fellow Americans.
