Repeal health care law

As a result of the passage of "Obamacare," we the people face a future of being compelled to purchase health insurance deemed appropriate by the federal government. With the IRS as the enforcer, being given the authority to fine us and withdraw funds directly from our bank accounts if we choose not to purchase the right health insurance, we are subjects of a forced redistribution scheme which will decimate the middle class.

Upward of 70 percent of the American people have been ignored by an arrogant class of career politicians; 219 members of Congress displayed their complete disdain for their constituents by shoving President Obama's agenda down our throats.

Today, I call upon my opponent and six-time incumbent State Rep. Jack Franks to put aside partisan politics and file a bill in the General Assembly to repeal this disastrous new law. He also needs to pressure his friend, Attorney General Lisa Madigan to join with the attorneys general of numerous other states in suing the federal government over the passage of this unconstitutional health care law.
