Last day to sign District 15 petition

Opponents of the $27 million bond sale approved by Palatine Township Elementary District 15 are making one last push to collect about 6,500 signatures for a petition that would force the issue to a referendum in the November election.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 10, petitions will be circulated at the Palatine Senior Center, Falcon Park Recreation Center, the Palatine Post Office on Colfax, the Palatine Train Station and Palatine village hall. The petitions are due on Monday.
