Ex-child soldier speaks:A former Ugandan child soldier will speak at 7:30 a.m. today at West Aurora High School, 1201 W. New York St., as part of the Invisible Children campaign. West Aurora students in the Invisible Children Club have sponsored Ugandan schoolchildren since 2006, and recently won a Chase Bank fundraising contest, with the money going to Invisible Children. For more information, visit kanecountybar.org.Red-light camera fines begin: Motorists caught by red-light cameras disregarding traffic signals at East New York Street and Eola Road in Aurora now will receive $100 fines, authorities said this week. The intersection has the highest number of accidents so far this year in Aurora and is the latest to be equipped with red-light enforcement cameras. The cameras, which have been operational for seven days, record both eastbound and westbound traffic on East New York Street at Eola.What's a Good Templar?The Geneva History Center will host a lecture about Good Templar Park and the International Order of Good Templars at noon Tuesday at 113 S.
