• A Garmin GPS device and 20 compact discs were stolen between 10 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. Saturday from an unlocked 2008 Nissan Versa in the 1900 block of Muirfield Circle, reports said.
• Someone broke the passenger side window on a 2008 Chevy Silverado between 8 p.m. Friday and 12:30 p.m. Saturday and stole a wallet containing $50, reports said.
• A laptop computer was stolen between 8 p.m. Wednesday and 2:55 p.m. Friday from a residence in the 100 block of Seminole Drive, reports said.
• Someone cut the engine wires in a 2003 Chevy Malibu in the 1200 block of Fleetwood Drive between 4 a.m. and 3 p.m. Friday, causing $460 damage, reports said. The victim discovered the damage after the car's engine was running erratically, reports said.
• A man reported to police that someone followed him while he rode his bike home, punched him in the face and took $20 and a set of keys at about 9:50 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Washington Street, reports said.
• Kyle J. Mitchell, 20, of the 7500 block of Grant Circle, Hanover Park, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at 1:25 a.m. Monday after a traffic stop at Chicago Street and Preston Avenue for driving without headlights, reports said. Police found a bong and 1.1 grams of pot after searching Mitchell's car, reports said. He is due in court on May 14.
• Someone broke the windshield on a 1989 Chevrolet Astro in the 600 block of Elgin Avenue between 11 p.m. Saturday and 4 a.m. Sunday, reports said.
• A woman told police a man held a knife to her throat and took an undisclosed amount of money from her after he approached her in the 300 block of Watch Street at 8:48 a.m. Sunday and asked how to get to the casino, reports said. She was not injured and the man ran away, reports said.
• Erin L. Carriveau, 24, of the 1700 block of South Street, Crystal Lake, was arrested and charged with felony criminal damage to property at 7 a.m. Sunday at the Days Inn, 1585 Dundee Ave, reports said. Carriveau is accused of breaking a window after finding her boyfriend at the hotel with another woman, reports said. Her bond was set at 10 percent of $15,000 and she is due in court on April 15, reports said.
