District 15 has new business leader

The Palatine Township Elementary District 15 board has voted to appoint Michael A. Adamczyk as the assistant superintendent for business and auxiliary services. He will officially start July 1.

Since 1993, Adamczyk has served as assistant superintendent for business services and treasurer for the Troy School District in Troy, Mich. He's also president of Michigan School Business Officials.

Adamczyk will replace Merilee McCracken, who has been in the position on an interim basis following Rebecca Allard's departure last summer.
