Put up or shut up on government gripes

Every day I get e mails from people that are tired of how our government is run. Now if you are as tired as you say you are lets start fixing it.

Let's demand that DuPage County Board Chairman Robert Schillerstrom step down with no stupid severance package, take his retirement package and put it back in the water commission books to help balance the budget. Now, let's go to the municipal leaders that are elected and do the same with them. The people that I have pointed out are the ones who appoint the commissioners, so it must be their responsibility to over see what the commission does.

If you do this, the next chairman should start thinking maybe the people are tired of how the government is run and maybe the new chairman will start doing things for the people instead of his political friends. OK, people, if you don't do something, then quit complaining to me on how the government is run.
