Get rid of parties to reform government

Perhaps the time has arrived to start anew. A cleansing of both houses in Washington D.C. is what I am suggesting.

I do not mean just throw the bums out, but to do away with the political party system altogether. Both political parties are ineffective, spend without restraint and demonstrate no discipline to excesses and indulgences.

Our leaders are clueless and out of touch with the people of the nation they represent. I believe independently elected lawmakers will govern with care and concern in a manner above reproach. The independent elected lawmaker will govern as an untouchable to money, power and influence.

The American people are patriots who believe in God, the Declaration of Independence, the United States Constitution, the Bill of Rights and will die defending their freedom. Can you recall the last political whomever who led his constituents with Red, White and Blue? I can think of one. Perhaps one day our elected will be as American loving and believing as its people.
