Hanover Park pizza place hit by armed robber

Hanover Park police are searching for an armed man they said robbed a Little Caesars at 11:05 p.m. Friday.

Police said the offender walked into the restaurant at 7454 Barrington Road and threatened employees with a semiautomatic handgun before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male between 20 and 30 years old, about 6 feet tall with a medium build.

He had a thin beard on the sides of his face and a full beard on his chin. He wore an orange hooded sweatshirt underneath a puffy black jacket.
