Pick up bargains at book sale

The Friends of the St. Charles Public Library's semiannual Used Book Sale will be held from 2:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 9; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 10; and new Sunday hours from noon to 2 p.m. April 11. Lots of books and more will be available at bargain prices.

The Friends are a group of people interested in the services of the library. They support programs and purchase equipment to supplement the library's regular budget.

Anyone interested in becoming a member of the Friends of the Library, can call Merilee Curtis at (630) 584-0076, ext. 240. The library is at 1 S. Sixth Ave., St. Charles.
