Naperville police investigating burglaries

A burglar recently stole $200 and a camera valued at $110 from KinderCare, 1228 W. Ogden Ave., Naperville. Police say the incident occurred between March 20 and 22.

Police also are investigating the burglary of a home on March 13 or 14. Burglars forced open the rear door of a house on the 900 block of Rosewood Ave. and made off with jewelry and cash worth a combined $33,000.

Another Naperville home recently was burglarized, resulting in the loss of jewelry and a large screen plasma TV worth a combined $25,000.

Police said the burglars gained entry by breaking a window adjacent the front door of the home at 62 Townsend Circle between Feb. 26 and March 9.

A witness observed a Hispanic male in his 30s near the property and believes he was driving a dark or charcoal-colored sport utility vehicle.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in these cases. Anyone with information is asked to call (630) 420-6006. Callers may remain anonymous.
