Police shouldn't be taking free food
When the next election is held for the mayor of Elk Grove Village, Illinois I suggest that Craig Johnson not be re-elected. Although I am not a resident of Elk Grove Village I cannot mention one positive idea that Craig Johnson has done to improve the village.
As a matter of fact I do see that Craig Johnson and the present Police Chief do not care about the village image. Character Counts not in Elk Grove Village. It appears that the mayor and the present police chief condone the actions of a few police officers accepting "freebies" and not paying for food.
There are millions of people that are unemployed and their dignity and self-esteem prevent them from accepting "freebies" in the village. However, police officers that are employed in the village still are determined to undermine village policies and accept "freebies." I have never seen a Police Chief that cannot manage people in preventing the breaking of village rules.
