Bears re-sign safety Josh Bullocks

The Chicago Bears announced the signing of restricted free agent safety Josh Bullocks. Bullocks signed his one-year tender offer from the Bears. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Bullocks appeared in 12 games with four starts for Chicago in 2009 finishing with 21 tackles, 14 of which came in the last two contests, and five special teams stops.

The five-year NFL veteran has appeared in 74 career contests (53 starts) with the Bears and New Orleans Saints (2005-08), recording 327 tackles, six interceptions, 28 pass break ups, four forced fumbles and 21 special teams stops. Bullocks started both postseason contests for the Saints in 2006, recording 16 tackles and three passes defensed.
