Reports: Lions sign WR Burleson

ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- The Detroit Lions are declining to comment on reports that they have signed Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Nate Burleson and are pursuing Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Corey Williams.

The Detroit News and ESPN.com say the Lions are close to trading for Williams.

The News and the Detroit Free Press report that Detroit has signed Burleson to a 5-year, $25 million contract.

The Lions finished the 2009 season 2-14. They have the second overall pick in this year's NFL draft.
