Laugh or cry at Illinois politics?
I can't decide if I like living in Illinois for the entertainment value of our sleazy politics, or hate it for the political stench. We have a governor who we did not elect. We have a U.S. Senator we did not elect. The head of Cook County wasn't elected to the position. And now we'll have the possibility of an appointed lieutenant governor.
Everyone would be crazy to let Mike Madigan and his Democrats in this state tell us who our elected officials are anymore.
