How to fight back at red light cameras
It seems that almost everyone is up in arms over the red light cameras. I'd like to share my plan for getting rid of them. I practice it myself. If you can, plan your route to avoid all red light cameras.
If you can't, practice restraint. First, and most important, if the traffic signal changes to yellow, slow down and stop before touching the white line. Stay there and don't move until the light turns green. Don't worry about the clown beeping behind you, you're saving yourself $100. To the clown beeping, your happiness is not worth $100 to me, get over it.
Second, when making a right turn on red, come to a complete stop before touching the white line. Count; one thousand, two thousand, three thousand, four thousand, five thousand, then proceed if the intersection is clear. If there is a clown beeping behind you, see above.
Third, vote out all politicians who support red light cameras and/or take money from red-light camera company lobbyists. The way to get rid of the cameras is to bankrupt them. If everyone obeys the law, they will get no income. Eventually they will have to remove the cameras because it will cost them money to keep them running. These are simple things that anyone can do.
