Traffic cameras feed greed, not safety
Well, Hoffman Estates wants to install traffic light cameras at five intersections. Yet there is no evidence to show that installing traffic light cameras at these intersections will make traffic any safer.
The sole motive of the traffic light cameras are profit and greed. Their main purpose is to catch people making rolling stops on red - a violation that is so prevalent that by virtue of its frequency should be looked at differently, not exploited for profit and greed.
